Here's a look at the future of iPhone cameras. iPhone 16: incremental improvements The upcoming iPhone 16 Pro and iPhone 16 Pro Max have the same tetraprism telephoto camera with 5x zoom as the iPhone 15 Pro Max. Apple is aiming to market the iPhone 16 as the best solution for mobile photography by introducing a new camera control button on the right side of all 2024 models. iPhone 17: improved optics In the iPhone 17 series, all three rear cameras will have a resolution of 48 MP. The telephoto lens will receive a significant optical update, an increased aperture for better performance. This marks a significant improvement in Apple's camera technology. iPhone 18: steady progress No major hardware changes are expected for the iPhone 18 line
